Our Story

Torbeg Cottage was originally our family holiday home where we have been lucky to enjoy countless visits over the past twelve years. 

We know firsthand just how special the area is - whether you're visiting as a family with young ones or escaping for a quiet retreat in the outdoors.

Having loved visiting for so many years, we took the leap in 2020 to retire early from our teaching careers and move to Assynt full-time. We now live in the next village to Drumbeg and maintain Torbeg as a year-round holiday let. You'll find us in Culkein Drumbeg, along with our collie, a small army of hens and occasionally a pig or two!
